    Snickkers and Peanuts serves up delicious home town diner delectables. From homemade soups, salads and sandwiches to delicious ice cream and shakes, S&P has a range of food for everyone. The owners are extremely friendly and very talented, always greeting customers with a smile.  Batesville natives and travelers alike should make S&P a meal time destination as soon as possible!

    Excellent local eatery. Nothing fancy for atmosphere but very good food especially for the price.  Limited hours and not open for dinner.

    Hubby an I went for a banana split but decided to try something substantial first. Ordered a club sandwich and the homemade cream of broccoli. Both FAB-U-LOUS! We were very pleasantly surprised! Then we had the banana split with any three scoops and any of the seven toppings that our heart desired, topped off with whip cream, nuts, and cherries. The service was fast and personal and we met Snikker, that was her childhood nickname, her brother is Peanut. It's a family business, the best kind! Their pies are also homemade and we plan to return before we leave to experience those. Highly recommended!!! Hours at this time are Monday thru Friday 9-4.  Also check out the self-guided tour of downtown Batesville. We found that very interesting. Look catty corner from Snikkers and Peanut for the "door"stuck in the ground by decorative water fountains, there is a map there showing all the Portals to the Past door locations. Enjoy!
